We must work by appointment to provide each patient time for proper care. Although early morning and late afternoon appointments are most popular with working adults and school-age children, it is sometimes necessary to schedule appointments during midday hours. Scheduling is on rotational basis, and every patient is expected to accept a fair share of midday appointments.

Your First Visit

It is necessary for a parent or guardian to accompany a child on the first visit. You will be asked to supply a medical history, and our doctors will evaluate and discuss your orthodontic needs. Before your needs can be completely evaluated, we may need x-rays, photographs, or impressions. Often these diagnostic aids can be prepared on the first visit; however, a second appointment (records appointment) may be necessary. Once the evaluation is complete, we will discuss with you the necessary therapy, length of treatment, and approximate cost involved.

We Need Your Cooperation

Teamwork is the key to successful orthodontic care. The result of your treatment depends not only on your orthodontist, but also on your cooperation.

Following instructions is most important during your treatment. You must practice good oral hygiene, be consistent with the use and care of appliances, and visit your family dentist for routine check-ups. Parents should supervise their children and encourage them to consistently follow these rules.

The results of your orthodontic treatment can be a rewarding experience. By working together we can correct your problem, improve your health, and create a better self-image.

We hope to build a mutual, long-lasting trust with each of our patients and parents. We appreciate your recommendation of our office to other members of the community. We also request your input to make your treatment as pleasant as possible, and we thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Billing and Insurance

An initial payment is requested prior to the beginning of treatment, and the balance may be paid in monthly installments. Arrangements for payment should be made prior to starting active treatment.

If you have orthodontic insurance, please bring any forms or other information with you. We will be happy to help you complete the forms and discuss your coverage.

We also accept financing through OrthoBanc.
